Allen Cornett brings 23 years of experience in Architecture and Architectural Interiors. Since graduating from the University of Louisiana at  Lafayette (formerly the University of Southwestern Louisiana) in 1993, he has been working on ground up building and architectural interior renovations. He has a varied background in architecture, construction administration and interiors. While working in architectural firms, Allen served as a project manager, programmer, designer and construction administrator on a variety of projects including Financial, Educational, Corporate Interiors, Automotive, Federal Government and Health Care. This exhibited experience demonstrates his organizational ability and qualifies him as a versatile member of the firm. As a sustainable design consultant, his ability to interpret a client’s desires and direct the certification process has made him a strong team member. He has excellent communication and organizational skills, and is extremely detail oriented. Since focusing on sustainable design in 2008 Allen has consulted on over 60 LEED projects ranging in size up to $122 million. In addition to managing projects Allen spends his time researching the ever growing sustainable solutions available, and staying in touch with the evolving LEED rating systems and certification process. Also as a 3rd Party Green Building Provide Contractor for the City of Dallas, he has performed plan review and inspection services over 90 projects to verify compliance with the City of Dallas Green Building Ordinance.
